Speaking at For the Love of Fantasy & Sci-Fi in London, Billie Piper addressed speculation over her future in Doctor Who following her surprise appearance at the end of The Reality War, saying: “I am not the next Doctor. I am Rose Tyler in hiatus.” She urged fans to be patient about the show’s uncertain future, adding that it “has had a bit of a rough time lately” and everyone should “chill out and wait for what comes from having space… and time.”
