Summary
With Rassilon and the Time Lords poised to escape the Time War’s end and force their way back into reality, the Doctor is confronted with an impossible choice pitting the Master against his own people. Having narrowly averted the Time Lords’ return, the Doctor discovers the prophesied “four knocks” that will bring about his own death come not from an enemy but from his devoted friend Wilfred, leading to a poignant farewell tour of companions before his tenth incarnation gives way to an eleventh.
