Summary
Trapped inside an artificial virtual reality generated by the Library’s core computer, Donna slowly realizes the “perfect” suburban life she’s living is a fabricated illusion, while the Doctor and River Song race to save the remaining survivors from the ravenous Vashta Nerada. As River sacrifices herself to save everyone, referencing a diary full of future adventures with the Doctor he has yet to experience, the story closes with a bittersweet promise of encounters yet to come.
