Summary
Summoned to a Utah picnic by a mysterious set of invitations, Amy, Rory, and River watch in horror as an astronaut emerges from a lake and shoots the Doctor dead, apparently for good. Travelling back two hundred years earlier to unravel the mystery of his own death, an alive-again Doctor and his friends stumble into a covert 1969 conspiracy involving NASA, President Nixon, and a terrifying alien race called the Silence that no one can remember seeing.
