Summary
A wave of terrifying nightmares afflicting people across time and space, from modern Sheffield to 14th-century Aleppo, leads the Doctor to two ancient, godlike immortal beings, Zellin and Rakaya, who feed on fear and suffering by tormenting and imprisoning victims across the universe, while back home, Yasmin, Ryan, and Graham are each forced to confront personal anxieties and mental health struggles of their own, grounding the cosmic horror in very human vulnerability.
