Summary
The Doctor and her companions arrive at Lake Geneva in 1816 during the famous ghost-story writing retreat that inspired Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein,” only for the gathering of poets to be disrupted by a desperate, damaged Cyberman from the far future seeking a powerful, reality-altering weapon called the Cyberium, forcing the Doctor into an agonizing choice about whether to hand over dangerous knowledge to save one life at the cost of countless others.
