An unofficial, AI-assisted Doctor Who fan episode, The Curse of Kilmorag from fan project The Unmade Season, has drawn close to 400,000 YouTube views and considerable fan backlash over its use of generative video tools to recreate David Tennant’s likeness. Writer Thomas Vittlowe says he has received threats over the project but intends to continue making more.
