Sixth Doctor actor Colin Baker says he’s optimistic about Doctor Who’s competitive tender process, telling the Doctor Who Companion he doesn’t expect an eleven-year gap before the show returns and that fresh creative voices could reinvigorate the series. He credited today’s largely supportive fandom with helping carry the show through the wait.
