Following reports that Electric Entertainment was already in talks with the BBC about producing the next era of Doctor Who, CEO Dean Devlin told Radio Times that “it is untrue that we have had negotiations with the BBC, preliminary or otherwise,” adding that the studio hopes to discuss the show once the BBC is ready to speak with prospective bidders. Reports had suggested Electric Entertainment was keen to bring David Tennant back to the role.
