Summary
Investigating a distress signal from the Library, a vast planet-sized repository containing every book ever written, the Doctor and Donna discover its halls eerily empty save for shifting shadows that devour anyone they touch. Complicating matters further, the Doctor is greeted by a mysterious woman named River Song, who claims to know him intimately from his own future, a future he has not yet lived.
