Summary

Summoned by MI6 chief “C” to investigate a wave of attacks on international spies, the Doctor and her companions are drawn into a globe-spanning conspiracy involving tech billionaire Daniel Barton and sinister alien energy beings hiding within ordinary human technology, all while a mysterious, charming MI6 agent named O forms an unexpectedly close bond with the Doctor that hides a shocking secret revealed in the episode’s final moments.
