Summary
Despite Ace’s professed dread of clowns, the Doctor takes the TARDIS to the desert planet Segonax to visit the legendary Psychic Circus, only to discover the once-wondrous show has curdled into something menacing. Its ringmaster has vanished, a murderous Chief Clown enforces order with lethal force, and performers are forced to entertain a strange, all-powerful family or die trying, leading the Doctor to uncover the malevolent Gods of Ragnarok lurking behind the Circus’s fall.
