Summary
A remote Welsh mining village becomes ground zero for first contact with the Homo Reptilia, an ancient reptilian race stirred from hibernation deep below the earth by the drilling project above. As the Doctor tries to broker peace between the villagers and the emerging Silurians, Rory is dragged below ground, setting up a desperate rescue and a fragile truce that will be tested to breaking point.
