Summary
With the TARDIS stranded and Amy trapped inside it, the Doctor takes up lodging in the spare room of ordinary Colchester bloke Craig Owens, trying to pass as human while investigating a mysterious upstairs flat that lures visitors in and never lets them leave. Along the way, the Doctor’s chaotic attempts at everyday life, including an accidental stint on Craig’s five-a-side football team, nudge Craig toward finally admitting his feelings for his flatmate Sophie.
