The Doctor Who Companion – 22–23 October 2026
Gareth David-Lloyd has confirmed that the Torchwood/Ianto shrine, dismantled from Cardiff Bay during redevelopment, has been saved. Cardiff artist Nathan Wyburn is turning its pieces into an artwork, which may be displayed at the Red Dragon Centre around the show’s 20th anniversary, possibly early next year.
Meanwhile, Paul McGann, the Eighth Doctor, will headline the Isle of Wight comic convention on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at the Medina Centre’s 1Leisure venue. Clem So and Brian Muir, the sculptor who helped create Darth Vader’s helmet and armour, will also attend, and the event supports the Isle of Wight MS Society.
